Jump Space! First Impressions

In a distant future overrun with evil robots, can you save humanity?

While this question has not been answered during my time with the game, I do love the world building that has been done so far. We have a cast that is enjoyable to interact with, and an enjoyable system to play within. Jump Space is a game that combines space combat in all forms; ship dogfights, player led raids, and ground combat all are represented in this game. Add on a mission based system that allows you to control your rewards, and you have a fun game that really shines as a co-op quickplay.

Is this a good

I'm a huge fan of this type of setting, as you all may know. Space settings and science fiction are seen frequently on my channel, and this hits a lot of buttons that I personally want to be pressed. As I haven't been able to hop into the most recent borderlands, I was pleasantly surprised at the similarities with this game. You do get some amount of randomized loot, and the movement system feels really familiar. It's comfortable and cozy, despite being extremely hectic during tense moments.

Missions have been nearly an hour long, which feels like a good length of time to wrap up a voyage. We've been working towards ship upgrades, and there is a style of progression that favors completing missions over taking on unnecessary risk, which is great for players who like to sink time into a game to become powerful.

But Qiyra, is Jump Space worth the price?

At the time of buying, Jump Space was $20. With a projected 60 hour play through, I'd consider the quality of the game on par with the price per hour. If you watch the trailer and it looks interesting to you, I do recommend picking it up!

While I haven't made it too far through the game, I do expect that it will get progressively more difficult. I hope that this is the case, and am making my purchase recommendation on it. If I find this to no longer be the case, I'll updated this review.
